The Fen lies alongside the river Itchen and has chalk stream, fen and woodland habitats. It is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation but has little active management. The group was founded in 2017 local volunteers, to study the site and help to manage it for biodiversity.
Into the summer season now - scything and raking

The work party on July 19th was small in number. but despite the rain we managed to achieve what we set out to do. We will be holding another on Saturday 9th August at 9.30am.
